Redd was created by Derbyshire born Marie Mays in Summer 2008. After training at Vidal Sassoon in Manchester, Marie gained a world of experience running three successful salons in Manchester itself. Marie more recently worked as salon educator and consultant for GHD - which further influenced and shaped her own concept of hair and lifestyle.

The Redd concept aims to offer professional people a place where they can be totally relaxed and indulge in a bespoke service which looks at all aspects of their lifestyle.

The service is based on a personal consultation with every client. It includes invaluable advice on routines and techniques to maintain the lifestyle and salon-look in between your visits. And it keeps you fully informed of latest trends, techniques and products.

Marie keeps fit by skiing, cycling, walking, running & visiting her personal trainer; she will be running the ‘Race for Life’ this year.

Marie loves that, at Redd she can make people feel good about themselves in an hour. She loves her two cats Lucky & Blacky, drinking Krug & watching films on TV and her secret skill is that she can spray paint a car and would
love an Audi TT.

If she won £10million on the lottery she’d put money in the staff’s bank accounts secretly & wait for them to find out, holiday in Key West & California and would love to have round her dinner table: Alan Sugar, Richard Branson, Sharon Stone, Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell - wouldn’t everybody!
